SMART WAYS TO USE UP THAT TEA:
Tip #1: Clean Those Wood Floors: Put 2 Tea Bags in a quart of boiling water and let it cool a bit. Dampen a cloth with the Tea and use it to wash the floor. The Tannic Acid in Tea makes wood shine beautifully.
Tip #2: Soothe Razor Burn: Brew a cup of Tea and cool thoroughly. Lay the wet Tea Bag on top of the affected area. The Tannins act as a pain reliever.
Tip #3: Feed Those Houseplants: Tea Leaves are filled with nutrients that will have your plants thriving and growing sky high! Add the wet leaves to your plant soil and watch them thrive!
Tip #4: End Foot Odor: Steep 8 Tea Bags in a foot tub until water is dark and no longer hot, then soak your feet for 20 minutes. Tea has antibacterial properties that kill odor causing bacteria.
Tip #5: End Kitty Cat Odor: Dry out used tea leaves and sprinkle them into cat litter. The leaves will absorb the odor, and the catechins in the tea will kill germs.
Tip #6: Brew a pot of Tea and let it cool, wipe down your mirrors with a tea dampened cloth. Buff with a dry cloth for a streak free sparkling shine!
EVERYDAY TIPS:
1). Leftover Pancake Batter makes for great Onion Rings. Separate rings and let soak in the batter for approximately 15 minutes. Fry in hot oil until golden brown. Add a little bit of salt, and your good to go!
2). Dry Mustard will remove onion odors from your hands or cutting board. Rub in, then rinse off.
3). Put Rice in your Salt Shaker to keep the Salt from getting hard.
4). Out of Baking Soda....You can also remove odors from your fridge by placing a Vanilla Extract soaked cotton ball inside your fridge, it smells heavenly.
5). Store Plastic Wrap in the fridge - It will prevent it from sticking.
6). When you have a spill in your oven, sprinkle some Salt on it right away. When it cools, the spill will wipe right off.
